Wynyard gets busy on festival day — a little planning goes a long way.
Our recommended option is to park at Frederick Street Reserve and use the free shuttle. New for 2026, Wynyard Bus Lines will operate one continuous route connecting the parking area, the Festival and Table Cape Tulip Farm.
Road closure and shuttle-route arrangements are still being finalised. A map will be added to this page once confirmed.

Festival-day parking fills quickly. Frederick Street Reserve is the recommended parking area and is the first stop on the free continuous shuttle loop.

Park at Frederick Street Reserve, 1A Lowe Street, Wynyard, then board the free Wynyard Bus Lines shuttle to the Festival. The same continuous service also travels on to Table Cape Tulip Farm.
Little Goldie Street outside the Wynyard Community Centre will be used as the Festival shuttle stop. Please follow temporary signs and directions on the day, and do not block driveways, businesses, footpaths or emergency access.

The main shuttle buses are coaches. They have three steps and a handrail to board and are not wheelchair accessible. See the boarding and wheelchair information below before travelling.

The main shuttle service uses coaches, so boarding is different from a low-floor public bus. Please read the information below before you travel.

Prams cannot be wheeled directly onto the shuttle coach. Prams need to be folded before boarding and stored in the luggage compartment underneath the coach.
Passengers board using three steps and a handrail. Bus drivers can assist with storing prams and other items in the luggage compartment if needed.

The shuttle coaches are not wheelchair accessible. Wynyard Bus Lines will have a dedicated Toyota Coaster available on-call throughout the event. It can accommodate 2–3 wheelchairs and can service both the Festival and Table Cape Tulip Farm.
- Make yourself known to the shuttle driver at any shuttle stop.
- The driver will contact the on-call accessible vehicle.
- The Toyota Coaster will be dispatched to collect you.

Wynyard is compact and relatively flat, making walking or cycling a great way to reach the festival if you’re nearby.

Gutteridge Gardens sits close to central Wynyard, so walking is a simple option for visitors staying or parking nearby.

Coming from Burnie or Somerset? The Coastal Pathway offers a scenic way to reach Wynyard and avoid festival traffic.

The Festival shuttle bus stop has moved this year. All shuttle passengers travelling to or from the Festival should use the stop in Little Goldie Street, outside the Wynyard Community Centre.
Going up
the Cape?
Table Cape Tulip Farm is part of the same free continuous shuttle loop as the Festival.
There is no separate Tulip Farm bus in 2026. From the Festival, board at the Little Goldie Street stop outside the Wynyard Community Centre. The shuttle then travels to Table Cape Tulip Farm before returning to the Festival and Frederick Street Reserve.
The Café, Art Gallery and Gift Shop are wheelchair accessible. Access to the Tulip Field is limited for wheelchairs due to the terrain.
If you have specific mobility or accessibility requirements, please contact Table Cape Tulip Farm before your visit to discuss available options. On Wynyard Tulip Festival day, demand is likely to be higher than usual and assistance may be limited.

Dogs and other animals are welcome, but festival day is busy, noisy and crowded.
Animals must remain on a leash and under their owner’s control. Be mindful of live music, fireworks, helicopters and high foot traffic, and respect any designated animal-free areas.

PARKING
We recommend parking at Frederick St Reserve (1A Lowe St) and jumping on our free, accessible shuttle buses, which will be running all day from 11am to 9:15pm directly to the festival.

Parking Shuttle Bus
A free shuttle bus will operate from 11am till 9:15pm (after the fireworks) between Frederick Street Reserve Car Park and the Festival in Gutteridge Gardens, Wynyard.
Tulip Farm Shuttle Bus
For those who would like to the visit the Tulip Farm on the same day as the festival, a free shuttle bus is available.
The shuttle bus will operate every 30 minutes between Hogg Street (next to The Vault Café) and the Tulip Farm from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Pathways
An accessible standard pathway runs through the entire festival. Please be mindful, as there will be high foot traffic.
Entry points
There are three entrances to the festival. The main entrance is via Goldie and Hogg Streets, with additional entrances located at the East Wynyard Foreshore and Jenner Street at the top of Gutteridge Gardens.
Bringing your Pets
Dog & Animal Guidelines
- Dogs and other animals must be on a leash at all times and under the control of their owner.
- Be mindful of loud sounds such as live music, fireworks, and helicopters.
- Expect high foot traffic—please keep your animal close and safe.
- Bring water and poo bags for your animal. Free water and poo bags will be available near the Main Stage, but visitors are encouraged to come prepared.
Owner Responsibility
By bringing your dog to the festival, you agree that you are responsible for any harm your dog may cause to people, other animals, or property. You are also responsible for cleaning up after your dog and for any damage caused to property.
