Be alert to emails impersonating the festival.
We have been made aware of scam emails claiming to represent the Wynyard Tulip Festival. An email from a gmail.com is not associated with the Wynyard Tulip Festival or Waratah-Wynyard Council.
- Do not reply or engage with the sender.
- Do not click links or open attachments.
- Do not provide personal, business, banking or payment information.
- Report the email as spam or phishing, then delete it.
Be especially cautious of unexpected requests involving stall fees, invoices, banking details, application information or changes to payment arrangements.
Always independently verify payment requests with the Festival team before sending money or changing banking details.Official Wynyard Tulip Festival and Waratah-Wynyard Council correspondence will come from this address or another email address ending in @warwyn.tas.gov.au. If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, contact the Festival team directly before taking any action. You can also call Waratah-Wynyard Council and ask to speak with the Community Department.
Need a hand
on the day?
You won’t need to hunt around for help. Festival staff and volunteers will be around the event site throughout the day.
Speak with one of our friendly staff or volunteers around the festival site.
The festival information tent will be located near the Main Stage.
If you need accessibility support, directions or general assistance, speak with the team when you arrive.
Lost
property.
If you lose something at the festival, speak to the team at the information tent. After the festival, email or call us and we’ll be happy to check whether it has been handed in.
In an emergency,

For on the day help you can speak to one of our friendly staff or volunteers in hi-vis around the event site or see the info tent located near the Main Stage.
For emergencies, always call 000.
