The information below is designed to help you make decisions about transport, mobility, facilities, crowds and support before you arrive.

Parking &
transport.
Additional reserved accessible parking is available in central Wynyard, and a free festival shuttle connects Frederick Street Reserve with Gutteridge Gardens.

Additional reserved parking spaces for accessible users will be available at:
- James Muir Community Health Centre, Hogg Street
- Wynyard Community Centre, Little Goldie Street
- Wynyard CBD Parking, enter from Jackson Street
Park.
Ride.
A free shuttle bus runs between Frederick Street Reserve and the top of Gutteridge Gardens, with return services throughout festival day.

Getting
around onsite.
Mobility device users and prams should access Gutteridge Gardens via the footpath.
The footpath links with the Coastal Pathway and runs past Bruce’s Café in East Wynyard through to Jenner Street at the top of Gutteridge Gardens. Festival crowds can make access paths congested, so allow extra time to move around.

Access paths will become busy because of the large number of people attending the festival.
Seating is available
Limited fixed bench seating with backrests is located throughout the Gardens, with additional temporary seating and tables on festival day.
Accessible
toilets.
Accessible toilets are available at several locations around the festival and central Wynyard. Portable toilets will also be located in Gutteridge Gardens near the War Memorial and behind the main stage.

What to
expect.
Festival day is busy, lively and sometimes noisy. Knowing what to expect can help you plan your visit.

Crowds and congestion
Gutteridge Gardens and Food Street can become crowded, and it may be difficult to move freely at busy times.

Music and entertainment
Live music runs on the main stage from 11am to 9pm, with roving performers moving through festival areas.

Fireworks
Fireworks are loud, attract large crowds and may produce noticeable smoke. Plan ahead if loud noise or crowds are difficult for you.

Weather and exposure
Some areas have limited shade and are exposed to rain. Bring suitable clothing, sun protection and water for the conditions.

The Wharf
The Wharf area is paved and accessible, but there is a hill leading in and out and shade is limited.
Accessibility at
Table Cape Tulip Farm.
Table Cape Tulip Farm is committed to providing an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
The Café, Art Gallery and Gift Shop are wheelchair accessible. Access to the Tulip Field is limited for wheelchairs due to the terrain. If you have specific mobility or accessibility requirements, please contact Table Cape Tulip Farm before your visit to discuss available options.
Please note that on Wynyard Tulip Festival day, demand is likely to be higher than usual and assistance options may be limited. Contacting the farm ahead of your visit is recommended for specific access requests.

Festival volunteers will wear high-visibility vests and move throughout the festival site.
For help, visit the Festival information tent near the main Gutteridge Gardens entrance. Security staff will be located in the licensed “wet” area, and a first aid station will be available in Gutteridge Gardens.
